How To Add Pin it Button In Blogger

With Pinterest being the fastest growing of the social networks seeing an average of 11 million visits per week, it's easy to understand why many bloggers are wondering how they can add a  PIN IT button to their blog.  Getting your blog posts pinned is a great way to boost views to your blog so that a greater number of readers can benefit from your blog's  content.

Here is an easy code that you can use for adding a PIN IT Widget Button on your blog in Blogger:

<a href='javascript:void(run_pinmarklet1())'><img src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEigWBzQbClyFJ96nwXB5HjQeTyJURUzuEEkQZ7lf90y0D-aXv2pYpgtY-m3ZAE8qZABYYtikzh7k_XmQ_E0KQSY1KoackACGV68IrEbrL43bvZbgJ_mFdWn5j-zEMyHKZ_6xmNI-DIY7vP9/s1600/pinmask2.png" style='margin:0; padding:0; border:none;'/></a>
<script type='text/javascript'>
function run_pinmarklet1() {
var e=document.createElement('script');
e.setAttribute('type','text/javascript');
e.setAttribute('charset','UTF-8');
e.setAttribute('src','http://assets.pinterest.com/js/pinmarklet.js?r='+Math.random()*99999999);
document.body.appendChild(e);

</script>

Simply "Copy"  the above code, go to the "Design" feature in Blogger, Select  "Add a Gadget", then Select "HTML/JavaScript",  then simply paste the code in. Save. From the "Design" feature in Blogger you can move the widget button to any area in your blog that you would like it to appear.

HAPPY PINNING!

  3. I use wordpress.com at the moment, but I'm thinking of switching to blogger just because it's so much more customizable.
